This is one of a four part series called Spaces In Between. I was on a canoe trip the week before attending the Mentored workshop with Hazel Belvo. During that week, I wondered what I would choose to paint during the workshop week coming up. One morning, upon waking and unzipping the tent and seeing light shine through the woods, I thought, "that's it, I'll paint the spaces in between the trees and branches." I took several photos, and painted 4 of them. The color scheme was arbitrary.
