Painted from a photo taken in the cow barn at the Minnesota State Fair. This is a more complicated painting than I usually do, with all the layers of depth, assorted objects and beings. It was fun, though; brings back good memories, and I like how it turned out. I have no idea who the boy is, but I can imagine all the hard work he put in to being there and his hopes for winning.
